Understanding the underground mining environment and the stringent focus on mining safety by the mining sector, DMR Technologies has self-developed a complete safety signaling system solution which is used by mining groups in the gold and platinum sectors to keep their underground staff safe.
DMR Technologies is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for all of its products, with all products being manufactured by our dedicated team at our premises in Krugersdorp. Testing every product twice before it leaves our premises, quality products and service are at the core of everything we do.
As part of the complete solution provided, installation, training and repairs services are offered as well.
Our Specialisation
DMR Technologies’ products are designed specifically for each mining group following us gathering an understanding of our customer’s mining environment and safety requirements. This is done in consultation with senior mining engineers at our customers and we produce a number of test units to ensure the functionality of the product works as is required prior to being rolled out in mass to the customer. All of DMR Technologies’ products meet the Department of Mineral Resources’ safety requirements.
DMR Technologies’ key feature is that our technology records all interactions with our products underground, which allows the mining engineers to quickly pin-point why and where a safety incident occurred and being able to provide a full report of events to the Department of Mineral Resources, labour unions and mining executives. By using our technology, customers are able to limit the closure points after a safety incident to the area where the incident occurred as opposed to an entire shaft.
